BABYLON 5 Earth Alliance Starfury/Thunderbolt Fighter Pack
In a change from my usual builds, I am branching out into the world of Babylon 5 with this starter pack of Starfurys and Thunderbolts. Noted as some of the most powerful fighters of the younger races (with the exception of the Minbari) the Starfury is a fast and agile fighter capable of incredible maneuvers and in some ways, was only limited by its pilot. Later on during the outbreak of the Earth Civil War, a new starfury 'thunderbolt' was replacing the aging SA-23E Starfury. The new Omega Class Destroyers carried many of the new Thunderbolts which as opposed to its predecessor, is capable of atmospheric flight due to the extra wings that would rotate out to create lift. In addition, the Thunderbolt carried extra hard points for missiles giving it the ability of a bomber as well.

Special Characteristics:

As a change from my usual larger builds, I have opted to create as close to 1:1 builds as I could for these fighters. Both of which, (even though small) have their own special features as seen on the TV show. Included in this pack are several squadron color and leader color
variants for you to enjoy.

SA-23E Starfury
In this model I put in as much power as I could in a 1:1 build and gave it some rather impressive guns for its size. Other features include a rail docker for a cobra bay and an escape pod in the cockpit just like the show. In order to use the escape pod, you must press the up or down arrow key to switch to the different entity, then you are free to press the logic button on the hotbar and the cockpit will be ejected through rails away from the main hull.
Note: The cockpit hatch is located at the bottom of the cockpit via a plex door.

Stats:

Mass: 52.8
Length: 10m, Height: 8m, Width: 15m
Power: 12 blocks (recharge 1200 e/ps)
Thrust: 214.8; Max Speed: 360 (Ratio to Mass: 2.5)
Shields: 0
Reactor HP: 600
Reactor Chambers: Mobility >> Top Speed 3

SA-23J Starfury 'Thunderbolt'
For the Thunderbolt, I have added my traditional cramming of logic and sadly is slightly oversized (by 2 or 3 blocks I think), but should not detract from your 1:1 or role play experience. Crammed in is a logic cockpit hatch and the ability to switch the wings from space to atmospheric flight. Its guns are an improvement over the SA-23E Starfury's, but in addition to the guns, you have a pair of high velocity homing missiles which should theoretically give you a gun advantage over it's predecessor. Lastly, the Thunderbolt also has a rail docker located in roughly the same spot as the SA-23E making it easy to switch out between fighters in a cobra bay.

Stats:

Mass: 74.6
Length: 19m, Height: 8m, Width: 19m
Power: 16 blocks (recharge 1760 e/ps)
Thrust: 226.9; Max Speed: 360 (Ratio to Mass: 2.5)
(recommend switching thrusters to inherit thrusters from docks)
Shields: 0

Reactor HP: 1000
Reactor Chambers: Mobility >> Top Speed 3/Anti-Grav 2/Turn Rate 3
Reactor Power >> Reactor Base Enhancement
